We perform testing to AS/NZS4601 and AS/NZS 3749 for vehicle car alarms to assist importers and manufacturers to comply with Star rating schemes in Australia and New Zealand. Portions of this testing require temperature and humidity testing and cycling which can be performed in either our Sydney or Melbourne labs.

RCM covering Electrical Safety and EMC emissions
All alarm products sold in Australia, New Zealand, North America, Europe and many other countries are required to comply with relevant electrical safety and EMC emission standards.
The relevant EMC emission standard to comply with ACMA and NZ RSM requirements is AS/NZS CISPR32.
EN 50130-4 covers Alarm systems. EMC Immunity requirements for components of fire, intruder, hold up, CCTV, access control and social alarm systems.
Product Safety
Austest provides testing in Sydney and Melbourne to the relevant AU/NZ product safety standard for mains powered alarm systems and low voltage systems that include either dial up (PSTN) or 3/4G ( AS/NZS 60950.1 or AS/NZS 62368.1 ).
