At Austest Laboratories, we ensure your products withstand the impact of real-world movement and handling with certified vibration testing and shock test programs. Our team conducts controlled assessments to simulate road, rail, aerospace and defence handling conditions using an advanced shock testing machine and vibratory test equipment.
Accredited Vibration and Shock Testing Services
We offer accredited vibration testing and shock testing services for small electronic assemblies through to large 19” rack systems. Capabilities include sine, sine-on-random, random-on-sine and Shock Response Spectrum (SRS) assessments for automotive, defence, aerospace, and transport clients.
Vibration and Shock Tables
Our modern vibration testing platforms include five electrodynamic systems capable of delivering precise vibration test profiles for components up to 2000kg. These tables simulate transportation, handling and operational conditions across the defence, rail and electronic sectors.
- Vibration – up to 60 kN
- Shock – 120 kN
- 1 Hz to 3 kHz
- Max. Velocity 180 cm/s
- Max. Acceleration 100 g
- Max. Displacement 75 mm
Large Shock Machine
At Austest, our large shock testing machine features programmable waveforms that meet military standards, including MIL-STD-202, MIIL-STD-750 and MIL-STD-883. The system supports payloads up to 1,500kg and delivers accurate impact conditions for product qualification in defence and industrial settings.
- Max Specimen Weight: 1,150 kgs
- Max Specimen Size: Length: 1.52 metres, Width:1.52 metres, Height: No Restriction
- Max Acceleration in G’s: 600 (Bare Table)
- Generated waveforms fully programmable and comply with typical military specifications including MIL-STD-202, MIL-STD-750, MIL-STD-810 and MIL-STD-883 and include Half Sine, Terminal Peak Sawtooth, Square Wave.
Small Shock Machine
Our small shock testing machine can deliver extreme accelerations from 3 to 30,000g and is ideal for assessing component-level durability under rapid deceleration. This testing method simulates real-world impact and complies with key military specifications, including MIL-STD-202, MIL-STD-750, MIL-STD-810, and MIL-STD-883.
- Max Specimen Weight: 100 kgs
- Max Specimen Size 40cm x 40 cm, Height: No Restriction
- Max Acceleration in G’s: 3 to 30,000 (Bare Table)
- Generated waveforms fully programmable and comply with typical military specifications including MIL-STD-202, MIL-STD-750, MIL-STD-810 and MIL-STD-883 and include Half Sine, Terminal Peak Sawtooth, Square Wave.
