ASA Product Safety Approval Guides for Australia + NZ now available in Chinese and Korean Language Versions

ASA (Australian Safety Approval) is a JAS-ANZ accredited company, authorised to issue electrical safety certificates under the product certification scheme for Australia and New Zealand and the RCM.

ASA have published Chinese and Korean language versions of their Australian electrical safety approvals guide, free for download.

The guide explains the process for obtaining a safety approval certificate from ASA, which can then be used for uploading to the ERAC database for compliance to the Queensland EESS.

Apart from the requirement of electrical products to comply with AS/NZS 3820 (Essential safety requirements for Australia & New Zealand), the guide includes a full listing of prescribed minimum electrical safety standards and a description of each product.
