Austest Sydney adds a new environmental chamber and establishes separate facilities for environmental tesing

Austest Sydney has commissioned another new environmental chamber capable of -40°C to +150°C, with a ramp up rate of 3° per minute, a pull down rate of 1° per minute and relative humidity up to 98%. Internal dimensions are 1 cubic metre.

The chamber is located in new, separate premises, also located in Castle Hill, housing Austest’s other environmental test equipment including salt spray/mist for corrosion testing, our vibration table from 3Hz to 3KHz and dust & water for IP (Ingress Protection) to AS/NZS 60529.
