Austest Laboratories has recently acquired equipment for testing to the latest version of the European R&TTE directive standard ETSI EN 300 328, Version 1.8.1.

This standard covers Wireless Lan and similar transmitters and includes new requirements for spectral density measurements.

The existing EN 300 328 version 1.7.1 can’t be used after the end of 2014.

Note the ACMA does not currently accept EN 300 328 V1.8.1 test reports for Australian RF compliance.
