Austest Laboratories is a leading Product Compliance Test Facility, providing comprehensive test and certification services for electrical, IT & telecommunications products.

Due to business growth we have a position available for Electrical Testing Technician or Engineer at our Thomastown Victoria facility.

The job position involves working with Electrical Testing Engineers in performing testing to Australian and international electrical safety product standards, includes new standards development and product modifications on behalf of clients. While previous exposure or knowledge of electrical standards is a plus, sound fundamentals are a must, as training in specific test standards will be provided. This position requires a degree in electrical engineering or suitable equivalent.

For Technician level, a sound knowledge of electrical principals is required, accompanied by either a TAFE Certificate in electronics or relevant industry experience. Training will be provided as you will be assigned to work with one of our experienced safety engineers.

All applicants must have Australian permanent residence or a valid working visa. Salaries for both levels are commensurate with experience.
