Avalon 2017 is a global business event, attracting senior civil aviation, air transport, aerospace and defence industry, military and government decision-makers from around the world.

Austest Laboratories is proud to be part of the exhibition and can be found on the NSW Government stand 2G6 located in Hall 2.

The Australian International Airshow and Aerospace & Defence Exposition is a comprehensive showcase of the latest products, technologies and services. In 2015, almost 600 companies from 22 countries participated, either in the Exhibition Pavilion or in external displays.

AVALON 2017 will also host Australian Small Business Areas and several Specialist (themed) Precincts. The Specialist Precincts include the following specialist-sector zones:-

  • Australian Industry Defence Network (AIDN) Showcase
  • Airport Infrastructure/Services
  • Autonomous/Unmanned Systems & Robotics Precinct
  • Training/Education/Simulation Precinct

The industry-only Trade Sessions of the 2017 Australian International Airshow and Aerospace & Defence Exposition are Tuesday 28 February, Wednesday 1 March and Thursday 2 March and until 1400 on Friday 3 March. Only qualified trade visitors may attend during these times. These industry-only Trade Sessions are reserved for those with a professional, business or operational involvement in aviation, aerospace, defence or related government or industry sectors.
