Austest Melbourne now fully accredited for energy efficiency of Washing Machines, Dishwashers and Dryers
Austest Laboratories Thomastown has now gained A2LA accreditation for testing to the following standards;
- Clothes Washing Machines: AS/NZS 2040.1:2005
- Dishwasher Machines AS/NZS 2007.1:2005
- Rotary Clothes Dryers AS/NZS 2442.1:2000
A2LA is a signatory to several multilateral mutual recognition arrangements including the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) and the Asia Pacific Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (APLAC). A2LA and NATA (National Association of Testing Authorities) are both signatories to the ILAC and APLAC MRA’s for mutual acceptance of test data and reports.
Accredited testing is the highest level of acceptance for State and Federal regulators. Accredited laboratories are also used by regulators for check testing of manufacturers statements/claims regarding energy efficiency results.
